We run a small, independent, self-service hostel in Aarhus, Denmark. The hostel is located right in the heart of Århus, within walking distance of everything you might like to see in the city center. Our goal is to give you comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation in the best possible location of our beautiful city.

The hostel is located within a mile of:

• Aarhus Rutebilstation (the bus terminal)
• Aarhus Hovedbanegård (the train station)
• Strøget (the city shopping street)
• Latinerkvarteret (The Latin Quarter) 
• Botanisk Have (Botanical Garden)
• Den Gamle By (The Old City)
• Marselisborg strand og skov (Marselisborg beach and forrest) - about 30mins walking
• Tangkrogen Marina
• Domkirken (Aarhus Cathedral)
• Aarhus Å (The Aarhus River promenade - right outside our hostel)
• Many, many cafés, grocery shops and more… 

To achieve maximum hostel comfort, we have put new and comfortable 140x200cm box mattresses in our dorm room bunk beds, installed a 47" full-HD flatscreen TV hooked up to Netflix and a PS3 in our common area and installed a powerful WIFI-router so that you may never worry about a bad connection. Add to this that we make sure to keep our hostel clean, which we believe strongly to be the most essential criteria of a comfortable stay!

Now we talk a lot about comfort, but what about the price?
It is no secret to foreigners that we in Scandinavia have very high living costs, but at SimpleBed Hostel we stride to give you the very best value-for-money possible with prices starting at 250 DKK. Should you be a traveling duo on a budget, we give you the possibility to share one of our queen-sized beds for an additional 150 DKK. Our prices include a clean towel and bed linen. Your bed is made on arrival!

You are free to enter and exit the hostel 24-hours a day, however the TV in the common area will be turned off automatically at 23.00 o'clock and we ask all of our guest to respect quiet time from 23.00-8.00 and take consideration to guest sleeping in.

When fully booked we can accommodate ten people in our 80 sqm hostel. Guest share bathroom facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. We come to clean and overlook the hostel every day but do not have a physical reception, however we live right on top of the hostel and are available every day from 10.00 - 00.00 on e-mail, phone and facebook-chat should you have a problem that needs fixing.

Check in is from 15.00 till 23.00 and check out is before 11.00. 

 IMPORTANT:

SIMPLEBED IS A STRICTLY NON-SMOKING HOSTEL - ANYONE CAUGHT SMOKING INSIDE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE!

WE DO NOT HAVE THE FACILITIES TO ACCOMMODATE, NOR DO WE ALLOW, CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 5. WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO INSURE A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP, IN A QUIET ENVIRONMENT, TO ALL OF OUR GUESTS. :)
